Having designed, built and then maintained a wide variety of landscape projects, we have over many years established sensible aftercare programs designed to ensure the best possible site development.

We discovered early on that the first years aftercare costs are much higher than subsequent years, there tends to be a gradual fall off until another spike usually around year five - when we found that it was time to change out some planting for instance, and some support systems such as irrigation required more repairs etc.

Freshly cut grass has a certain allure, these days with water shortages it is often necessary, to seriously consider an alternative design

Here a very low aftercare mediterranean style garden, reduces both watering and the time to keep attractive

Aftercare is critical to a successful outcome of a project. Consideration should be given to who is going to provide the aftercare, plants will need watering and weeding, grass will need to be watered and cut, hard surfaces will need to be swept, ponds will need to be topped up with water, with any fish being feed, lighting will need to be adjusted, the list can be long and time consumming.

Finally a budget of either regular time or money needs to be allocated
